Sexual harassment comes in many forms and can be difficult to recognize. Some examples of this type of sexual harassment include: Telling sexually explicit or offensive jokes; emailing, showing, or posting sexually explicit materials; persistent requests for dates or sexual favors; unwelcome physical contact; gestures or nonverbal actions such as looking up and down a person's body; remarks that are sexual in nature about a person's appearance. However, harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature. It can include offensive remarks about a person's gender, which may be a form of gender discrimination. Examples of this are: Making offensive comments about women in general, telling a feminine male to act more like a man.
