Welcome to the training on preventing sexual harassment in the workplace for employees. Sexual harassment affects all aspects of the workplace. It is harmful, hostile, and creates an intimidating and difficult working environment. It has negative effects on employees and customers. Lawsuits can generate negative publicity that will cost time and money. For social, business, and legal reasons we must prevent sexual harassment and stop it as soon as it occurs. In this lesson you will learn the definition of sexual harassment, the types of sexual harassment, our policy of zero tolerance of harassment, and what you can do as an employee to help prevent and stop sexual harassment.
